How to use the goblet
The red and white wines are different, and the wine glasses are slightly different, but they all require a slim goblet. Why is this? It is to avoid direct contact with the cup with the palm of your hand when drinking, because the best drinking temperature for wine is around 18 degrees Celsius, among which red wine is high and white wine is low. If the palm of your hand warms the wine glass, it can Just kill the scenery. There is a general rule for the use of wine glasses, that is, whether you drink red or white wine, you must use a transparent goblet. Since the color of wine is part of wine tasting as well as drinking and smelling wine, it has always been an important criterion for judging the quality of wine. The use of colored glasses will affect the judgment of the color of the wine itself. The purpose of using a goblet is to let the hand hold it, so as not to directly touch the belly of the cup and affect the temperature of the wine. Hold the neck of the cup with your thumb, index finger and middle finger, and never hold the cup with your hands, so that you can fully appreciate the color of the wine and the heat emitted by the palm will not affect the best drinking temperature of the wine.
(1) Clamp the goblet between the index finger and the middle finger. Naturally bend the other fingers inwards. The thumb can also lightly cover three quarters of the cup. This method is more gentleman.
(2) Normally use your thumb and index finger to lightly hold three-quarters of the cup, with the tiger’s mouth facing the cup and the pillar. This method is relatively general.
(3) Hold half or less of the stem of the goblet, and gently hold the other fingers naturally. This method is more charming and suitable for ladies.
