Types of cocktail glasses
Sherry wine glass: The main glass used when drinking Sherry and Port.
Brandy snifter (Brandy snifter): Compared with wine glasses, brandy glasses have lower feet and larger belly. When tasting brandy, the drinker needs to warm the wine with the temperature in his hand, which will produce the aroma of brandy. Therefore, the foot of the brandy glass is lower. At the same time, the mouth of the cup is shaped like a tulip to prevent the aroma of the brandy from escaping quickly.
Collins glass: The Collins glass has a capacity of 12 OZ. This glass is mainly used in cocktail parties such as Singapore Sling. There is another name called Tall Highball glass.
Highball glass: Highball glass is used to hold Gin&Tonic, Fizz-style cocktails, the capacity of the glass is 8-10 OZ. It can be divided into legless cups and goblet cups by shape. Slightly shorter and wider than the Corinthian Cup.
Margarita glass: It belongs to a kind of cocktail glass and is a special glass for making Margarita series cocktails.
Irish coffee glass: This cup has a capacity of 8-10 OZ and has many shapes.
Hurricane glass: commonly used tropical cocktail glass, such as Tequila Sunrise will use this glass.
